Activities

• Youth Leadership Development Program (YLDP): a comprehensive guide to leadership development for young people. Topics covered include the areas of personal, social, educational, economic, political, technological, and organizational development. This holistic course of study prepares young leaders to be proficient in all aspects of life.

• Annual Youth & College Leadership Summit: annual conference that brings young leaders together from around the nation to develop leadership skills, discuss issues facing youth, and devise strategies to address these problems. Participants network and make valuable contacts to help in their personal, career, and organizational development.

Publications

•  Youth Leadership Development Workbook: a guide to developing leadership skills, resource, and year-round reference for emerging youth leaders

•  Horizon Newsletter: periodical circulated among membership and the community providing information on organizational activities and events, youth issues, and articles on leadership development.

•  Interactive Website and Email Group: provides information on youth leadership, scholarships, online bookstore, forums for sharing ideas, and a directory of youth organizations.
